For awhile now, I’ve felt a bit directionless artistically. This lack of direction prompted a heartfelt entreaty to the universe, and it got back to me in the form of an article in the New York Times. Long story short, the focus of my art will, henceforth, be on the natural world. And regardless of subject matter, 10% of the sale of any of my work that incorporates a tree product will be donated to One Tree Planted (OneTreePlanted.org), a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to global reforestation efforts; every dollar donated plants a tree. Think about it . . . all my paintings are on canvas with wooden stretchers, my cards are printed on paper, my coasters have cork backing, etc. I have lots of ideas for abstracts of volcanos, glaciers, and so much more. Stay tuned!
